System instead of Plans
A wise man once said:
“if you do not have a plan, you are going to nowhere”.
These words are extremely valuable, and implementing them in life can benefit with increased efficiency and productivity.
However, planning can lead to the trap, when there is more thinking about things done than action. Without execution of the plan, every master plan will fail. Moreover, dedicating more time to figuring out future tasks than actually doing them is also misleading.
Create a very simple plan, maybe focused only on the goals. Then create a system you will follow. Continuous checking of the system and gathering your own feedback and results will make you incrementally increase the quality of the designed system and like an infinite loop, it will be better and better till the goals are achieved.
System example
Let’s go through the example of my content-creating system which is focused on top content on social media.
I could just plan content and post it regularly what will be the right appropriate thing to do?
However, I decided to make a system to dedicate less time and increase quality.
The platforms that I use for content sharing:
- YouTube,
- Twitter/X,
- Instagram,
- LinkedIn,
- Medium,
Additionally:
- Newsletter,
- eBook
Making separate content for each platform would be super time-consuming, however making the same content would be boring. What is the solution?
Basing on each piece of content, modifying it for different social media.
For example:
- every morning I try to write my for 30 min my ebook,
- I use some of the chapters, for generating articles,
- On notion, I have a database with notes from different sites, resources,
- I use notion notes for Instagram/LinkedIn posts,
- LinkedIn posts are a little longer and more detailed, also in PDF format,
- Instagram requires only simple PNG format infographics,
- Twitter is about announcing new content, posting loose thoughts about something, experimenting with the audience,
- YouTube is based on notes, I create a scenario based on previous content
You can see the simplified scheme below:

You can create a system for everything, take a sheet of paper and do it.

🐦 Tweet of the day
One of the most impactful profiles on Twitter is the following one:
https://x.com/heyeaslo?s=21&t=w4GJlx4LScFKLlD6wg7AuA
The guy is achieving at a young age more than adults for their entire life. Extremely high monthly and yearly revenues, which are based on great campaigns on social media and selling notion templates.
Following his tips can be super helpful and enjoyable. I will not hide the fact that he inspired me to go deep into Notion.
